The Habitats Pilot

Your first AI workflow— designed, built, and validated in 4 weeks.

What you already know

AI is transforming the way we work. In fact, it’s quickly becoming foundational infrastructure for organisations, big and small. In the same way we take for granted electricity and the internet, AI will be ubiquitous in 2–5 years. There’s pressure to adapt today, not tomorrow. But where do I start?

The Habitats Pilot exists to answer that question.

The Habitats Pilot

A structured 4-week engagement where we work with your team to identify, build, and validate one high-value AI workflow — something that delivers visible, measurable impact in your operations.

This is not a proof of concept. It’s a working workflow, tested against real conditions, ready to deliver value continuously.

One workflow.Four weeks.Clear outcomes.

How it works

Week 1

Design Sprint

Decide what to build.

We work closely with your team to confirm the right workflow, map the steps, roles, systems, and constraints involved, and together, define what success looks like.

You’ll receive:

  • A detailed workflow specification
  • Clear scope boundaries
  • Agreed success metrics
Weeks 2 & 3

Implementation

Build and refine.

We build and tune the workflow, connect the required inputs and outputs, and test it against real examples from your business. Your team stays involved — we refine based on your feedback throughout.

You’ll receive:

  • A working AI workflow
  • Documented capabilities & known limitations
  • A readiness assessment for production
Week 4

Validation

Test, confirm, decide.

We run the workflow under near-real or real operating conditions, confirm that the output quality meets the bar, and assess operational fit with your team and systems.

You’ll receive:

  • A validation summary with results
  • Agreed production configuration
  • Identified expansion opportunities

What we need from you

For the pilot to succeed, we ask for a few things upfront. This ensures we can all move with precision and confidence.

An executive sponsor

Someone with authority to make decisions and remove blockers.

A selected workflow

One process with visible business value that’s worth getting right.

Access

To the inputs, systems, and people the workflow depends on.

Agreement on success

A shared definition of what “validated” means, so there’s no ambiguity at the end.

What happens after the pilot

If the workflow is validated and meets the success criteria we agreed on, we move into production — where the workflow runs as part of your operations, continuously.

The pilot is also where we often identify the next two or three workflows worth building. Most organisations discover that once the first one is working, the second and third become obvious.

Why a pilot approach

Most AI adoption efforts stall because they start too broadly. A company-wide AI strategy sounds important, but it rarely leads to a working system in anyone’s hands.

The Habitats Pilot takes the opposite approach: start with one workflow that matters, build it properly, validate it against reality, and expand from there.

Habitats is an AI operations lab that helps your organisation make the transition to an AI-empowered future.

We start where you're at. Practical, high-value AI workflows — that combine human expertise with intelligent systems to improve how work gets done.
